Plan for a Lot of Two Acres

Yesterday’s country homeowners took full advantage of their land. They filled their property with orchards, kitchen gardens, park-like landscapes, game fields, and countless types of outbuildings. Here's a sample of how sites were planned.

A-House, E-Entrance; B-Stables and Carriage House; D-Greenhouse and Grapery; I-Henery with double yard containing a few fruit-trees; SB-Strawberries; RB-Raspberries; V-Dwarf Orchard; O-Standard Orchard. Grapes are grown between the Greenhouse and Stables. The surrounding border of the Garden is set with Blackberries.
